Exciting new Spoonflower contest this week! The Cary Players community theater in North Carolina are putting on a production of How to Succeed at Business Without Really Trying and contacted Spoonflower about creating a mid-century modern print for a cocktail dress costume in the play.
I’m kind of in love with mid-mod design so this was a no-brainer for me to enter this contest! A little more difficult to actually decide what to enter!
I ended up entering this design that I called Sun Screen. I think it’s bold, but not overwhelming that it would distract from the play. The gold sunbursts give it a little glamour that would make any lady feel ready for a cocktail party!
You can vote on the contest here. A top 10 is chosen and then the director of the play will chose the winner!
