Last weekend was my sister, Carrie’s baby shower. My good friend Erin of Goldiluxe Events and I pulled off a mighty cute party I must say! And Miss Kate Funk took some beautiful photos of the set up.
I made this simple bunting out of different calicos in the colors of the party and ironed on letters. I didn’t even need to sew anything, I just used Stitch Witchery to fuse the little flags, so simple!
Our signature cocktail and sweets.
Instead of a cheesy baby game we decided to do a baby craft, bib decorating! I bought a pack of plain white bibs and printed out some designs and alphabets on iron-on transfer paper. Very important thing to remember: always print the letters reversed out.
People seemed to really enjoy the craft and it didn’t require much artistic skill, just a little creativity and cleverness!
All in all the party was a success and I had a blast working with my extremely creative friend, Erin. I loved how all the elements came together for a fresh, never fussy baby shower for my future niece!
