My dad loves new technology. I can’t afford to actually buy him an ipad so I made an ipad themed father’s day card. The “apps” spelling out Happy Fathers Day” are things my dad likes: grilling steak, golf, wine, the Packers etc. I printed it on glossy photo paper to make it look more like a screen. You’re the best, dad!
Last year for Valentines Day I made my boyfriend a card that had a picture of 80’s band Loverboy on it and it said “Happy Valentines Day, lover boy”. That went over pretty well so I knew this year I had to come up with something just as good. He’s a huge fan of Law and Order SVU so I did cartoons of detectives Benson and Stabler. Ok so they’re not really romantically involved on the show, but those unrequited tv relationships are sometimes the best. I should probably make one of Mulder and Scully next!
